In January 2008, the NSCA Certification Commission submitted its application for re-accreditation accompanied by the proposed By-law amendments to NCCA. The NCCA Commissioners are currently reviewing the documents but they provided the following interim response:

Dear NSCA Representatives:

On March 17th, 2008 the NCCA reviewed the requests submitted from your organization related to the re-accreditation process and the proposed NSCA By-laws revisions currently under consideration by the NSCA membership. The following is intended to summarize the conclusions of the NCCA review:

• The re-accreditation process will proceed using the application submitted by NSCA and based on the currently approved By-laws submitted with the application.
• NSCA will need to report any By-law changes during its next scheduled annual reporting cycle and the changes will be reviewed by the Commission at that time.
• If, at any time, there is concern by an NSCA representative that there has been an event(s) that represent a non-compliance with NCCA Standard 2, or any other NCCA Standard, that representative may submit a complaint along with documented evidence to the Commission for review under the Commission's complaint handling procedures.
