Thanks to the generous efforts of the many supporters of the NSCA Certification Commission, the CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials continue to be promoted all over the world. Their public and private contributions constitute an important step toward establishing the CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials as the Credentials of Distinction for fitness professionals.

First awarded in 1997, the Ambassador Award was established to honor both individuals and organizations who have made exemplary efforts in promoting the CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials to students, employees or consumers. Since its inception, there have been six honorees.
