Online CEU Quiz Process Streamlined for Certified Individuals

Lincoln, Nebraska - December 9, 2005. The NSCA Certification Commission has enhanced its online CEU quiz process. The upgraded process provides Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer® (NSCA-CPT® ) certified individuals with access to a more secure, real-time CEU quiz process through the NSCA Certification Commission's innovative CEU PORT (Premier Online Record Tracking) system.

With the recent enhancements, certified individuals who take online CEU quizzes are no longer required to enter unchanged contact information each time they take a quiz because they must log in to the CEU PORT
with their unique ID and password to take the quizzes. After completing and passing an online CEU quiz, the CEU award will be automatically entered and displayed in the certified individual's CEU Reporting Summary in the CEU PORT. This removes the certified individual's responsibility of recording CEUs earned by passing CEU quizzes.

Additionally, the CEU quiz process was upgraded to include a feature that will alert a certified individual if any quiz question is left unanswered. This feature will allow for easy editing by the certified individual to help ensure that he or she has the best chance to successfully complete the quiz and receive CEUs. The score will appear onscreen immediately after the payment is processed, and the results and receipt will be instantly sent to the certified individual's e-mail account.

The upgrades to the current online CEU quiz process were done to improve and expedite the recertification process while encouraging certified individuals to keep abreast of the ever-changing knowledge and skills needed in the fitness profession.
