2007 Trade Show Schedule Announced
Lincoln, Nebraska - January 2, 2007. The NSCA Certification Commission is excited to release its 2007 Trade Show schedule. These shows make it convenient and easy for individuals and the media to speak with our representatives and learn about our certifications and the newest exam preparation products. Established in 1985, the CSCS credential identifies the fitness professionals who possess the knowledge to design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs for athletes in a team setting. More than 20,000 strength coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists and other fitness professionals hold the distinguished CSCS credential.
The NSCA-CPT credential is for personal trainers who work with both active and sedentary clients in one-on-one situations. NSCA-CPT certified individuals work in a variety of settings including schools, health and fitness clubs and clients' homes. Since its inception in 1993, the NSCA-CPT credential has quickly gained respect and recognition worldwide and now more than 7,000 fitness professionals are NSCA-CPT certified.

The NSCA Certification Commission, the certifying agency for the National Strength and Conditioning Association, offers two credentials for fitness professionals. The Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) certifications are considered the Credentials of Distinction in the strength training and conditioning and personal training professions. The NSCA Certification Commission is the only fitness-related organization to offer credentials nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) since 1993.
